Here is why this App has become my new favorite go-to travel resource.

Firstly, it offers offline navigation. I can download the maps and articles before I head out for the day and explore without worrying about roaming charges and signal blackouts.

Secondly, I know the blog posts have been written by real travelers, like me, not generated by AI. When I read a post that resonates with me, I know the author has actually been to the places described and experienced what I will experience.

Taking the GPSmyCity App for a Test Drive

We decided to be a tourist in our own city and try out the App to see how easy it is to use, and if it could offer us something new to see in a city that we have lived in our whole lives.

I used the paid version of the App and opened a Discovery Walk focusing on street art. Using the easy-to-follow GPS embedded map, we quickly discovered murals around the city, some hidden and some in plain sight that we just hadn’t noticed before.

I’m hooked! We had a fun afternoon discovering very cool art and stopping for a few refreshments along the way. Who knew there was a Brooki’s Cookies enroute?!?
